Desperate Escape is the latest additional episode to be confirmed and dated for fans who want more from Resident Evil 5.

Desperate Escape allows gamers to take control of Jill Valentine and Josh Stone as they escape from the Tricell Facility in order to aid Chris and Sheva in their final encounter with Wesker.

As well as Desperate Escape, Capcom have announced another episode, Lost in Nightmares, additional costume packs and a new game mode called Mercenaries Reunion.

Mercenaries Reunion is a co-op game mode that pits players' skills against waves of zombies. Chris, Sheva, Josh and Jill will all be playable in the new mode.

Not content with announcing the DLC, Capcom are also releasing a Gold Edition of Resident Evil 5, which includes all the DLC on one disc.

Lost in Nightmares and the first costume pack will be available on Xbox 360 on February 17th and PlayStation 3 on the 18th. Desperate Escape and the second costume pack follow on the 3rd of March for Xbox 360 and 4th for PlayStation 3.

Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition will hit stores in Europe on March the 12th.
