Can utilize one or more sensor from a collection of sensors quote mark

A new motion control patent signed by J Allard has been spied for the Xbox 360, the filing revealing a so-called 'Magic Wand' peripheral for the console.

The Wand "can utilize one or more sensor from a collection of sensors to determine an orientation or gesture in connection with the wand, and can further issue an instruction to update a state of an environmental component based upon the orientation."

Widespread reports have already hinted that a motion control system is on the way for the Xbox 360 - with an unveiling at this year's E3 mooted in some quarters.

Could this be the Magic Wand? More soon.
