Scottish blokes are queuing up to go under the surgeon's knife to get rid of their man boobs, or moobs as they are commonly known, in the hope it will help them land a job.
According to the Transform Cosmetic Surgery Group, blokes north of the border are flooding them with requests for surgery to improve their employment opportunities and so they can look good next to Playboys on the beaches this summer.
Shami Thomas, spokesperson for the organisation, said that many men are facing up to the fact that the sun will mean they can't walk around in four or five layers to cover up their excess breast tissue.
"Men with moobs often hide under thick layers and jackets during the winter but find these months particularly difficult as they can't mask their male breasts under skimpy t-shirts," she stated.
In other male grooming news, the Daily Mail recently listed some products which will transform a man from a scruffy urchin to a smooth-skinned Playboy.
