A Japanese man going by the moniker SAL 9000 said "I do" to Nene Anegasaki, a virtual character in DS dating sim Love Plus. No word on whether the marriage has yet been consummated.
Last Sunday, the two were officially wedded in Japan reports Boing Boing. A priest presided over the ceremony, which was attended by friends and family of the couple including a virtual friend of the virtual bride.
Before the vows were taken though, a montage of the couple's most memorable moments played and the virtual bride spoke about the relationship. That sure is one savvy dating sim.
Following the ceremony, SAL 9000 was finally able to return his DS stylus to its slot.
